  • Yes. I can. We started subscribing to something called Germ Theory, or the idea that diseases were caused by microscopic organisms. This lead to advancements in medicine and sanitation. People still contracted mumps though, just in lower numbers.

  • Wow. So vaccines are just a massive evil governement conspiracy? Well in a way it was. It was a massive government conspiracy to eradicate measles, mumps, rubella, tetnus, smallpox, rabies, and other horrific diseases.

  • Whats wrong with technology and medical advancements? Back in ye olde natural birthing days, I bet there were a ton of women wishing for a nice clean hospital, painkillers, doctors, and the option for a C-Section. It is also important to note the leading cause of death in women was childbirth.
